Sunday Slate: Week 7 Preview, Paris Opener to Chiefs vs. Seahawks

Week 7 Sunday slate: Paris opener, a packed 1:00 p.m. window, and Chiefs vs. Seahawks under the lights

Week 7 Sunday starts overseas and ends in prime time. Here is how the day stacks up, window by window.

Morning: history in Paris

The day kicks off at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network with the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) against the New Orleans Saints (2-4) at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, the first regular season game played there. Pittsburgh brings the better record and the steadier defense into the early window, while New Orleans needs a result to stay relevant in its division race.

1:00 p.m. window: seven games, one headliner

The early window is loaded. The unbeaten San Francisco 49ers (6-0) visit the Atlanta Falcons (2-4) on Fox, the Baltimore Ravens (4-2) host the Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) in a divisional fight, and the unbeaten Minnesota Vikings (5-0) host the Indianapolis Colts (2-3). Also on the card: Cleveland at Tennessee, Miami at the New York Jets, Tampa Bay at Carolina, and the New York Giants at Houston. Four teams are on bye this week: Jacksonville, the Los Angeles Chargers, Washington, and Buffalo.

Late window: divisional stakes in Detroit

Denver (4-2) visits Arizona (2-4) at 4:05 p.m. ET, then the late Fox window brings Green Bay (4-2) at Detroit (3-2) in an NFC North battle where both teams already carry two losses, plus the Los Angeles Rams (2-4) at Las Vegas (3-3).

Sunday Night Football: the game of the day

The nightcap is the headliner. The unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) travel to face the Seattle Seahawks (3-3) at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. It is billed as the toughest test of the season so far for Kansas City, and a Seattle win would reshape the NFC West picture overnight.
